The Benefits of Hot and Cold Extremes
Here at Body by Brooklyn, we recommend our B3 Cure to take full advantage of all of the health benefits our steam rooms, saunas, and baths have to offer. You'll notice that no matter what your goal is – to relax, to detoxify, to energize – we suggest alternating between our high heat saunas and quick refreshing breaks in our Arctic Cold Plunge or Tsunami Shower. This hot and cold hydrotherapy has been used for centuries and has a ton of benefits including:

It's best to start out with a variety of hot treatments before refreshing yourself with a cold treatment and then starting the cycle over again. For example, a great detoxifying program that we suggest begins with a dip in the Jacuzzi and a warm shower, followed by five minutes in the Swedish Sauna, another warm shower, five minutes in the Turkish Steam Room, and then a Tsunami Shower. A break in the lounge is recommended before finishing up with ten minutes in the Russian Sauna, a warm shower, and a dip in the Arctic Cold Plunge.
It's a sure way to maximize all of the benefits that a trip to the spa can bring!
